Good revising tool

on the first 14 questions already I have spotted some mistakes (mistakes in questions 1.3, 1.4, 1.8, 1.14) with Some of the questions having two correct answers. Also certain descriptions such as hb O2 dissociation curve s***s to right and left are written in reverse. Having said that This book offers a good revising tool, some of the questions are extremely useful with fantastic explanation of the answers although some have unnecessary details from several publications.
The book does not include the new guidelines 2014 for valve so the related questions are out dated. As there are not many books in Cardiothoracic finals for British exam, this book probably offers a good starting point with no competition,

I read this book cover to cover. It is very condensed and full of usefull, and also non useful informations. The good points are:
Increases your knowledge dfinitely.
There some well written explanations that summariase the available literature and presents you both sides of argument for and against doing something..
there is some useful repetition to enforce learning.
The bad points are:
There is plenty of unnecessary detailes of publications that can get you lost.
The style is very old fashioned, dry presentation of information that makes it difficult to grasp the idea from first time reading.
Not easy to read and understand and you have to make a good effort to get into the core.
Generally speaking, the book is good, but could have been presented in a more exciting and gigestable way.
I would recomment it if you have spare time.
